What It's Like to Work With Me

You don't need modelling experience, a detailed plan, or even a clear idea of what you want your photos to look like.

We'll start by talking about you, your goals, and the kind of photographs you'd love to have. From there, I'll help with everything from locations and outfits to the overall look and feel of the session. If needed, I can also recommend trusted makeup artists and hairstylists.

During the shoot, I'll guide you every step of the way. Most of my clients have never had a professional photoshoot before, so there's no pressure to know how to pose or what to do in front of the camera. My goal is to make the experience feel relaxed, enjoyable, and surprisingly easy.

Afterwards, you'll receive all the best photographs from the session with colour correction, rather than just a small selected gallery. You'll also receive a selection of carefully retouched images.

Frequently asked questions

I've never had a professional photoshoot before. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Most of my clients have little or no experience in front of the camera. I'll guide you throughout the session, so you don't need to worry about posing or knowing what to do.

Can I show you photos I like?

Absolutely. Reference photos are always helpful. They give me a better understanding of what you're drawn to and help us create a session that feels right for you.

What if I don't know what kind of photos I want?

That's completely normal. Many clients come to me with only a rough idea or no idea at all. We'll talk about what you'd like to get from the photoshoot, and I'll help you develop the concept, styling, location, and overall direction.

What should I wear?

After booking, I'll help you choose outfits that work well for your goals, location, and personal style.

Do I need professional hair and makeup?

Not necessarily. Some clients prefer to do their own hair and makeup, and I'm happy to give general guidance on what works best for photos. If you'd like professional help, I can recommend trusted makeup artists and hairstylists, or you can work with someone you already know and trust.

How far in advance should I book?

The earlier you get in touch, the more date options will be available. Many clients book several weeks in advance, but last-minute sessions are sometimes possible too. If you have a specific date in mind, it's always worth reaching out and asking.
